Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Happy Health Innovations Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"), the makers of CataPred. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use CataPred. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. CataPred is a screening tool, not a diagnosis
CataPred helps you check your eyes and notice possible problems early. It does not diagnose any condition, is not a medical device, and does not replace an examination by a qualified eye doctor. Results can be affected by your phone's screen, lighting, distance, photo quality and attention. Always confirm a result, good or bad, with an eye doctor, and never delay seeing one because of a CataPred result. CataPred is not for emergencies: if you have sudden vision loss, eye pain or injury, seek medical care immediately.
2. Who can use CataPred
You must be 18 or older to create an account, or have a parent or guardian create it and supervise the tests for you. Clinic accounts are for staff a clinic has authorised to use CataPred on its behalf.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your phone secure: anyone with your phone and its SMS codes can sign in as you.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the side menu in the app.
4. If you use CataPred as a clinic
- Get each patient's consent before entering their details or testing them.
- Enter patient details accurately, and only look up patients you are testing.
- Your clinic is responsible for how its staff use CataPred and for any medical advice or decisions it gives patients.
5. Credits
Some tests, like the AI cataract screening, use credits. Free credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and may change over time. If we ever offer paid plans, they'll come with their own terms.
6. Fair use
Please don't:
- enter false information, or someone else's details without their permission;
- try to access another person's account or data;
- attack, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the app or its servers;
- resell or misuse the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Our app and content
The CataPred app, its tests, design and content belong to Happy Health Innovations Pvt Ltd. You may use them only through the app, for screening yourself or, as an authorised clinic, your patients.
8. No guarantees, and limits on our responsibility
We work hard to keep CataPred accurate and available, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees that results are error-free or that the app will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions made, or care delayed, based on CataPred results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law that can't be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using CataPred after a change, you accept the updated terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are handled by the courts of India.
